Eastern High School Band Boutique...

Back again with more news (and exciting Eastern High School Colors!)

The idea for a boutique started way back in June of 2016, and that's when we started putting the call out for crafters, direct sales companies, and great folks to help us make this fundraiser a success! It doesn't matter if you have the date and time set, the location locked up, the volunteers to help--you can't have a holiday boutique without the people there to sell.

We are thrilled beyond belief to have so many great people from Kentucky and Indiana who are participating in this event. We appreciate the fact that they'll be getting up before the sun rises in order to make it to our doors by 7 am in order to get ready to start the day at 9 am.

They will be there from 9 to 3, ready, willing and eager to help you with your holiday and Christmas shopping. What do you expect to find at our boutique? Well..

There will be candles, jewelry, knitted and crocheted items, wood décor, children's books, sock monkeys, bird houses, dog accessories and dog treats--there will be 70 plus vendors there to help you in any way they can!

I'm super excited because Santa will be there as well. If you know of families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing, we will have two interpreters there to help Santa communicate with them. Bring your cameras! It will be a day filled with fun, games, and food! Yes! Our marvelous hospitality team will be on hand to serve up yummy food!

Hello!  My name is Karen and I am half of KarensKraftDesignz!  My mom Sandy and I  have been in this business for 5 years.  We both reside in Shepherdsville, KY.

We became interested in beading through a long time friend of mine and have been hooked ever since.  When we work together with our business we get to share some mother/daughter time, which means a lot to both of us!

My mom, Sandy, has two children, me and my older brother, and five grandkids ranging in age from 5  to 13.  Most of her time is spent watching her grandchildren play sports.  In her free time she loves to watch UofK basketball and try to win a little money at the gambling boat with her husband or 47 years!

 I am the mother of two boys age 13 and 8.  My husband and I have been married for 15 years and are in the process of getting a new house.  In our free time, we like to be at the ball field either watching our son's play baseball or my husband playing softball.  My other interests include Chicago Cubs and UofK basketball.

Our company makes everything from necklaces to earrings and flip flops to keychains.  We do accept special orders, depending on availability of the requested item.  If you have something in mind that you want us to make, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the Holiday Boutique....especially Santa!

Are you ready, and excited? I know I am! 

The Eastern High School Band, located in Middletown, Kentucky (just outside of Louisville) is holding its first holiday boutique on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 9 am to 3 pm. The Boutique will feature more than 70 vendors. We have talented crafters who make fabulous gifts and items, including jewelry, blankets, candles, bath and beauty products, wood decor--the list goes on! And we have direct sales consultants who can help you find a perfect gift from their line of products.

I will be featuring our vendors on this blog so you have a chance to get to know them better. 

I hope you'll join us on the day of our event. We're very excited that Santa will be making a visit from the North Pole, and if you know of anyone who has children who are hard of hearing or deaf--we'll have sign language interpreters there to help Santa communicate with them. 

There will also be a holiday trivia game for the kids, food for sale, and other fabulous activities!
